Cinque Terre

The Cinque Terre, or “Five Lands”, is a small region in northwestern Italy along the coast of the Ligurian Sea. The area consists of five villages built on terraced hillsides among a landscape of woodlands, rugged hills and amazing coastlines of cliffs and beaches. The Cinque Terre National Park has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of it’s stunning beauty and cultural legacy.  This region is re-known for its seafood, wines, and cuisine; Not to mention the birthplace Pesto!

This trip is as much about exploring the unique cultural history as it is hiking the gorgeous seaside mountains.  We’ll have lot’s of extra time to explore the villages, beaches, local artists’ workshops, vineyards and restaurants.  We’ll still get in 4-8 miles a day of hiking, but we’re going to stop and smell the roses too!

We’re still finalizing the details, email us for more info at:  jeffbanksguide@mac.com
